The 5 corner stones

1 Focus on people and natural environments of Lanzarote

Guarantee a fair and sustainable economic model for the island's residents, prioritizing their quality of life, improving access to housing, promoting a more diversified and better-paid labor market, protecting the island's culture, preserving its authenticity and natural environments, and countering overcrowding while curbing over-tourism.

Guiding principles of tourism:

a) When you take something, you must also give something in return.

b) The visitor must pay what it really costs, including the externalities/costs of his visit.

2 Achieve energy independence and sustainable water supply

We are committed to circularity and sustainability in all industries and sectors on the island. We propose ending dependence on fossil fuels by 2035, reducing it by half by 2030, and taking drastic measures to ensure the stability and sustainability of water supply and systems, through desalination with sustainable energy, reducing water waste and anti-pollution measures, among other actions.

3 Launch a rapid decarbonization action plan

Addressing energy, pollution, the environment, food systems, tourism, urbn planning, construction and agriculture, implementing adaptation and mitigation measures to prepare for rising temperatures, extreme rainfall, rising sea levels and Saharan dust storms (calimas).

4 Promote the digital transformation of the island

Promote and rapidly implement ethical digitalization in businesses, education and public administration to increase productivity, reduce costs and streamline civic processes.

At the same time, position Lanzarote as a key opportunity for startups and entrepreneurs offering innovative solutions.

Create a digital hub on the island and foster an emerging startup ecosystem.

5 Implement future-oriented educational programs

Investing in both technology and the humanities, including languages, arts, certifications and specialized training beyond traditional education (tools and telos).

To help young people discover and create new opportunities, both in digital and in-person environments, and to generate attractive educational spaces that encourage Generation Y and Z to stay in Lanzarote or return from the peninsula.
